Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
4 day work week. That’s what I decided would be beneficial to my own self after having had this past Friday off. Performing the necessary weekly domestic tasks and such, all could be done on either the first of the 3 weekend days or the last of the weekend days thereby allowing for a true 2 days off. Makes sense. 4 + 3 = 6. There’d be 4 days of work, 1 day for the “essential tasks” with 2 days for oneself. By that math, there would be plenty of time to write a Six Sentence Story. Perhaps I shall propose a 4 day work week on behalf of Six Sentence Stories to the owner of my company, minus my math computation, 4 + 3 -1 = 6. Yeah, I’ll get right on that tomorrow, lol. In the meantime, what I will get on with, like you, will be writing exactly 6 sentences of fiction, fantasy, mystery, poetry, next scene in wip or scrap of soc. Dream it, write it, share it. Storytelling. Is it not the balm we seek?
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.

Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers.
PROMPT WORD: VISION
“We turn to stories and pictures and music because they show us who and what and why we are, and what our relationship is to life and death, what is essential, and what, despite the arbitrariness of falling beams, will not burn.” – Madeleine L’Engle, A Circle of Quiet
