It’s Thursday’s Six Sentence Story Link Up!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
Although this post is published Wednesday, with the Inlinkz link going live at 6:00 pm this evening, EST, US, the official start of this blog hop is Thursday. But hey, somewhere in the world, it’s already Thursday. And speaking of – have I ever mentioned snooze? As in “Snooze Button”? What a cruel joke that, eh? And yet, I succumb to its allure (and Aretha sings M-I-S-T-A-K-E). The other thing I succumb to, with absolutely no regret, is participating in the Six Sentence Story Blog Hop. Talk about compound exercise! We are asked to write: a story of fiction, fantasy, or other; to write a bit of poetry or next scene and do so in exactly 6 sentences. What do you say? Join us in word whittling our way to a Six Sentence Story?

Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link the URL to your post via the blue “Click here to enter” button below.
Link is live Wednesday 6:00 PM, ends way late Saturday night!
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀

If you need some help you should read this work: ‘Steering the Craft’ by Ursula K. Le Guin; especially for the important semi-colons.

Here’s a quote from her. ‘Damn the semi-colons, cried the captain, full speed ahead!’

But, of course, we do. Don’t we?

    Enjoy!
