Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
How many times have we uttered the words “this time, I’m going to (fill in the blank) and sticking with it!“. Depending on the logistics, we may or may not find ourselves achieving that particular goal. Clearly, all of us are cognizant of the benefits and enjoyment in writing consistently, just as when we do whatever it is appeared in the parentheses 2 sentences ago. The difference? Writing is literally at our fingertips. An activity inserted into our day, wherever we are at any particular moment. No driving, catching a bus or taking the metro. And to insure there is no excuse not to write at least once a week, there is this weekly blog hop, Six Sentence Stories. The goal? Using the prompt word below, write a story, poem, scene or soc in exactly 6 sentences, then share your story by linking the URL to it for all to read. How doable is that?!
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link the URL to your post via the blue “Click here to enter” button below.
Link is live Wednesday 6:00 PM, ends way late Saturday night!
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀
PROMPT WORD: GAME
