Sunday’s Six Sentence Story Word Prompt!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
Something a little different today. I don’t have a prompt word in mind yet. Which is not my typical process for the Sunday post. Typically, I have prompt word chosen, then the writer’s quote and finally, these words. Whatever they may be. Catalysts. Are we always certain of them in our lives? Do we always recognize them for what they are? Do we keep the “open” sign showing to allow for them to situate somewhere at a table in a corner of our imaginations, waiting for someone/something/some place to emerge and join them? Such the momentary musing in my mind this morning…say, hang on…thanks, needed to grab another coffee. Whatever your inspiration or impetus, we invite you to join in for this week’s Six Sentence Story Blog Hop. We are asked to write a story of any genre, a next scene in an ongoing serial or perhaps a peck of poetry and do so in exactly 6 sentences. Piece of cake, right? Tell you what – I’ll bring the forks and plates and we’ll meet back here later this week. Party hats optional. Have an excellent week!

Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link up at Wednesday’s post. Link goes live at 6:00 pm through Saturday late…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers.

PROMPT WORD: NAIL

To present a whole world that doesn’t exist and make it seem real, we have to more or less pretend we’re polymaths. That’s just the act of all good writing.” – William Gibson
