Sunday’s Six Sentence Story Word Prompt!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
Woo-wee! Let’s get to writing this post shall we?! How easily one may be diverted traveling the Google Express. I’m serious but not. Certainly the art, the craft of writing is serious business however, every single one of us knows it is also a most enjoyable, albeit at times, frustrating activity. At Six Sentence Stories, we focus on the enjoyable part. While the reason for participating in this particular blog hop, Thursday’s Six Sentence Story Blog Hop, is personal to you, I would submit, we participate because on some level we realize at the end of writing a Six Sentence Story, we’ve further honed our writing chops. You may disagree but think about it – we are asked to take a specific prompt word, write exactly 6 sentences and present those sentences as micro-flash stories, or next scenes as Clark and Tom have been doing these last couple of weeks in their collaborative “mash-up” or, perhaps we wax poetic like Patty and Sunra. Six Sentence Stories. Writers getting creative with 1 word and 6 sentences. Join us for a Six?

Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link up at Wednesday’s post. Link goes live at 6:00 pm through Saturday late…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers.

The quote is good and true, and I’ll add just one note to it–“a book can be a whole world, a place you’ve never visited before; a land where you can be free and content…and never have to take the trash out.”😉
