Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
December. We’re officially in the last month of this year. Historically, it’s a busy month for many of us what with end of year stuff (business and otherwise), various holidays (if one so observes). Inherent in the rush is the feeling of speed. Runaway, out of control, speed. Talking with a co-worker yesterday, I remarked how incredibly fast the 2nd part of the year has passed and quipped perhaps instead of a wall calendar of tropical beach scenes, I should have one of high speed and bullet trains, lol. Regardless of how quickly the days, hours, minutes pass, there remains a constant each week – Six Sentence Stories. If you have a moment or two to indulge your muse, please consider sharing a poem or story or wip excerpt. As the title suggests, you only need 6 little ole sentences. Done and done. Link and share. Good times for all. Read you soon 🙂
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.

Link is live Wednesday through Saturday night late!
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀
PROMPT WORD: BEAM
“You write to communicate to the hearts and minds of others what’s burning inside you. And we edit to let the fire show through the smoke.” – Arthur Plotnik
Hi Denise! You may already have this quote in your library, but just in case–I thought it was a good one:
“I think I did pretty well, considering I started out with nothing but a bunch of blank paper.” – Steve Martin
Bedelia’s on her way over 🙂
