Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
Can it be? Already? The prompt word for this week’s hop is the 4th and final writer’s choice prompt suggestion from June 8th. Let’s give it up for Staarlz! A most wonderful medium, writing (she writes rhetorically since she writes to an audience of writers). No matter the language, there are letters (and thanks to Romi, we know also of kanji) that form words that form sentences. For those who frequent this establishment, we are concerned with exactly 6 sentences for we are the writers of Six Sentence Stories. Expression. Life is not all “serious” and nothing else. It is complex, full of mystery and affords us infinite material as writers for expressing ourselves – through poetry, drama, science fiction, mystery, humorous tales of human behavior. Here, at the blog hop Six Sentence Stories, we have a venue to engage in creative play. It is here we come to enjoy each other’s company, find inspiration, encouragement, friendship. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a hundred times, who said the virtual world isn’t real? Please join us this week and share 6 sentences of whatever your muse has served up using the prompt word below. We’ll be here. We’re always here. Be well. Be creative. Be.
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link up at Wednesday’s post. Link goes live at 6:00 pm through Saturday late…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀
PROMPT WORD: LABYRINTH
“The role of the artist is to ask questions, not answer them.” – Anton Chekhov
who said the virtual world isn’t real? True words!
(If you find him/her, send them my way 😂)
…especially questions that the collective mentality of the artist’s society refuses to pose.
Hey Staarlz , thanks for the prompt. Let see how we are getting ourselves out of this labyrinth now lol

I’ll be sure to do send them your way, at their own peril, lol
I for one am totally looking forward to it!

Great prompt word!
I’d also add that the best part of being a Scientist is that good answers always lead to more questions. That’s the best part. So Scientists & Artists have that in common!

LOVE the Chekhov quote–I truly hope to write “questions” more than answers 🙂 Thanks for using my word prompt…no idea, now, how I’ll use it–but Z and B will come up with something (or I’ll fire them, hah!). And I love what you say, that our virtual world is indeed Real–“AI” could never come up with all that your cafe/bistro writers bring each week, no way!

But of course, my pleasure, S using your word – it’s a good one.
You and me both, lol. I’ve no doubt between Z and B more than one idea will float your way!
I feel the same. Damn straight it’s real 😎
