Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
Now where the heck did I put my words. Hold on for a moment….ha! Here’s some. I’m reminding myself (and you) that sometimes a deliberate search serves only to stifle one’s muse. Sometimes. Then, there are those instances when the mere act of typing words (or writing them with a pen or pencil, as the case may be) allows a storyline or piece of poetry to begin to form. Like bread dough left to leaven, words coalesce into something we can sink our teeth into. The Six Sentence Story Blog Hop offers a prompt word each Sunday to begin our search for other words that eventually form exactly 6 sentences of a story, piece of poetry or next scene in our serial. Shall we break bread beginning this evening? Meet you in the kitchen.
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
