Sunday’s Six Sentence Story Word Prompt!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
Anybody identify with what Mr. Kerouac has to say? Rhetorical, people. Rhetorical. As writers, we’ve all felt what he’s describing. And at the end of the day we say “sfw” and keep writing. We begin by just getting the words and sentences down on screen or paper. Sometimes the flow arrives a little later, or maybe the arrangement switches up until the point when the story we’re writing begins to write itself. When we stop caring is when characters and plot lines open a door and introduce themselves. Our purpose then? Follow them and try not to interfere too much. So here we are at the beginning of a new week of Six Sentence Stories. Many of you Sixarian veterans know what this hop is about. For new folks, let’s tell them in a nutshell:  write precisely 6 sentences of story, poetry, scene or soc using the prompt word below. Link the URL to your Six here, at the ‘Edge, come midweek and let the storytelling begin. And hey, if you find yourselves extra prolific like Clark and Mimi this last SSS Hop, feel free to link up more than one Six Sentence Story. We can never tell too many stories, right?

Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link up at Wednesday’s post. Link goes live at 6:00 pm through Saturday late…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers.

PROMPT WORD:  REMOTE

Man, wow, there’s so many things to do, so many things to write! How to even begin to get it all down and without modified restraints and all hung-up on like literary inhibitions and grammatical fears.” – Jack Kerouac
