How often the connection between prompt word, quote, and post? You would not be incorrect stating there’s usually some congruity, if nothing else. Today’s quote speaks directly, doesn’t it, to the heart of the matter of being a writer. Whether writing deliberately or feeling compelled to write, it does in fact, boil down to self expression. Through characters and plot, ponderings and poetry, observation and enlightenment. Enter Six Sentence Stories, a vehicle by which to express our artistic selves through a mere 6 sentences, for that is the requisite number of sentences. Simple? Yes, however, it is not necessarily an easy task, this writing of a story, scene or piece of poetry pie in precisely 6 sentences. This is your challenge should you participate in the Six Sentence Story Blog Hop – to tame the beast, let angels fly and calm the madman by writing exactly 6 sentences of fiction, fantasy, humor/satire, poetry or next scene.
