Always and Forever. Ten Things of Thankful.

Good morning everyone! Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge. Kristi has opened the doors again this week to the blog hop known as Ten Things of Thankful. I’ve got a bunch so why not begin now?!

Safety while traversing 1,200 miles since last week. Drove back to the homeland for a visit. What? Why, yes! that is 2 Thankfuls right there!!

#3 Mimi’s TToT this week. Her post is a reminder that life is, without doubt challenging, and at times overwhelmingly so. But she is on the money that it’s all about perspective. How do we keep perspective?

#4 The sun shining brightly this morning. Absolutely magical today.

#5 Hypo grat alert! I can’t seem to e-mail photos from my phone to my laptop! Keep getting an alert someone is trying to access my account! Yo! It’s me, Girlie, e-mailing Girlie. *sigh*

#6 Insert here (in your imagination), the photo I can’t seem to insert. Rest assured I’ll be back this weekend to insert it because dammit! I have to figure out why I can’t!! Simple enough to do: e-mail photo, download to laptop, insert into post. What am I missing, lol??

#7 Oh, yeah...insert another invisible photo right here.

#8 Spring! It has finally arrived! Kinda sorta 😀 While the forsythia have bloomed where I live, the temps are not quite “springlike”. No never mind, spring is also attitude. And there’s plenty of that all around me 😀

#9 Six Sentence Story Blog Hop. Thank you everyone who has participated for so long, and for all the new folks who have found their way to the hop over “hill and dale”. You all are truly an inspiration 💖
P.S. Prompt word for this week’s SSS will be published tomorrow 🙂

#10 This moment. A day, lying in wait, for me to celebrate. Enjoy your day, my friends!

Thank you, Astrid. Sunshine is a magic elixir, isn’t it? 😀 And bonus today? There wasn’t a cloud in the sky!

It definitely is. I always feel better when the sun’s shining.

I believe in magic, oh yes I do. HA! I’m also grateful that you have done a TToT and let me read your beautiful words. 🙂 And safety while driving? Oh yes! 🙂
I hope you’re having a great weekend! Will try to call in this evening, but I’m at my mom-in-law’s helping out…not sure how long my sis-in-law will be gone. If I don’t call in, it’s because I’m still in helping mode. 🙂

      Of course you do! lol
Thank you my friend. I’m glad you stopped by!
So far so good. I hope your weekend is as you would have it 🙂
No worries, if we don’t hear from you. Mom-in-law comes first.
Be well. And maybe talk to you soon!

Wonderful list of gratitude–a great practice, which I do nightly as I’m crashing into bed 🙂 ❤

So many happy things, if we look for them. And it’s funny, Grandma has been calling me all day, her phone won’t send pictures, either. Wonder if there’s something going around virus wise in the virtual world, which would not surprise me.

True. They are there if we allow ourselves to see them 🙂
Really? So it’s not just me making something simple not simple! lol Hm.. I’ll have to look into that.

Do you have a charging USB cord that you could plug your phone into your computer? That’s usually how I transfer photos. (Although I understand your frustration with your tried-and-true method not working. Sometimes it’s just the principle of the thing!)

Temperatures here aren’t exactly consistently springlike, either. Highs in the low 50’s currently, but the forecast calls for a high of 70 (!) on Wednesday, followed by the possibility of snow showers on Thursday. Spring has an attitude, but I agree it also IS an attitude, so, Happy Spring!

I do. I’ve uploaded photos that way before but not in a long time. Funny, but there was something I didn’t like about doing that that prompted me to start e-mailing them to myself and then download to my pictures. Think you have something there….the principle of it! lol

That sounds crazy! But I admit we’ve had our share of the 50 one day, 70 the next 😀
      Happy Spring, Kristi!!

That was a lot of driving. Glad you had a safe trip.
Thank you for giving us all the prompts for the SSS, even if I don’t always participate. Sometimes the story just seems to be safely tucked away.
Oh, yes, spring certainly does have an attitude at times, but I still love this time of year.
Your music selection brings back memories.
Good luck with figuring out what is going on with being unable to transfer photos from your phone to your laptop.

It was but thankfully, I enjoy driving. Thank you, Pat.
Oh, you’re very welcome. I know exactly what you mean by “safely tucked away”!
Fall is my first, favorite season but spring is almost tied for that spot. I love watching all the trees and shrubs and flowers blossom after the long winter 🙂
Thanks, Pat. I really need to figure it out!!
      Enjoy the day.

The calendar helps… the external validation of a phase of the year… someone else, in the ‘hop, might have been Kristi, mentioned that no matter what the temperature of phase of the water from the sky (snow or sleet or rain) the seasons roll on and the planet responds).
    That kinda helps.

Yeah, it does. I guess, lol. Sometimes it seems like a tease! Calendar says it’s a spring day but it feels like a dead of winter day! Like yesterday. Gorgeous, not a cloud in the blue, blue sky but damn if you didn’t need to bundle up as the winds blew through the blooming forsythia bushes 😀 Crazy, but no complaints from me 🙂

Hopefully your tech problem has been solved by now. Often they are not important, but nevertheless annoying.
I am so glad spring has finally come, it’s always magic and makes life so much brighter.
    Have a wonderful week!

I’m thinking maybe it’s an account sign-in issue. Oh, it’s annoying alright, lol. Will be looking into it tonight. Fingers crossed 😀
      Agreed 🙂
Thanks, Viola! You have a wonderful week too!
