Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Six Sentence Stories! Poetry, flash fiction, works in progress (wip), s’what it’s all about. The “catch” of course, is that whatever your contribution, it must be presented in 6 and only 6 sentences. Piece of gateau, non? Don’t know about you, but for me, one of the more enjoyable aspects of the Six Sentence Story Challenge is witnessing the manipulation of English grammar. Words overflowing from your screen? Well get out the “anti- Strunk and White” and go to town, lol Time’s a ticking….read you soon!
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Come back here on Thursday, link your post…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 🙂
PROMPT WORD: BURST
“The beautiful part of writing is that you don’t have to get it right the first time, unlike, say, a brain surgeon.”
― Robert Cormier
