Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories! Trains. I have, perhaps not a love, more an affinity for them. An affinity for the ride; when I hear a train whistle blow in the distance, I feel a momentary tug of longing. For what specifically, who knows. I imagine that discussion more appropriate for a session with a PhD, PsyD, EdD, lol Lucky for me, writing has always been an important cathartic tool. Aren’t we fortunate as writers to have a ready means of escape, an ability to create worlds, solve mysteries, explore the universe as well as ourselves, all by typing one word after another after another? Please join us this week and share your fiction, non-fiction, poetry, segment from a new wip… All you need are 6 sentences. Read you soon!
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.

PROMPT WORD: ROUTINE
“The worst advice a young writer can get is “Write what you know.” Imagination is more important than experience“. – Joe Haldeman
