It’s Six Sentence Story Thursday Link Up!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories! Ever since the world stopped being as it was, seems as if time’s visage has been altered. Not that time can appear differently, it’s just that time feels different. Work schedules have changed, work is now performed remotely or worse, there is no work. For those working in fields deemed essential such as health care, law enforcement, fire & rescue and retail, there’s a layer of additional stress that no doubt accentuates this difference. Amidst the turmoil, we’re reminded of health. How important it is. How to keep it safe. Physically, spiritually, socially. As writers, we are in a unique position to provide each other, and those who happen by, a little respite from the inevitable “fallout”. We have the opportunity to offer entertainment, new information/facts, and mini history lessons; an opportunity to connect. Every week at this time you’ll find an open invitation to escape from the daily and join in Six Sentences Stories. Link your story or a poem, or a scene from your upcoming novel, serial, or memoir. 6 sentences. S’all you need. Up for it?

Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.

Any writer worth his salt writes to please himself…It’s a self-exploratory operation that is endless. An exorcism of not necessarily his demon, but of his divine discontent.

Light’s always on 🙂 To Kill a Mockingbird was one of my favorite books.

I have the DVD–never get tired of seeing it. I would have loved to have a dad like Atticus!

Seems now like a scene from our stories, doesn’t it?
    But it is not…
    …we made it through 🤗
