Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
For those new to this blog hop, today is the day of the week I provide a prompt word. This word is to be inserted into a story – fiction or non, a piece of poetry, perhaps a slice of “soc” or even the next installment of an ongoing serial. There are no genre limitations, there are no rules really, save for the 6 sentence rule. You must write your composition in precisely 6 sentences. As the ditty goes, “no more. no less”. It’s easy peasy puddin’ pie (have no idea, lol) Try it. It’s a lot of fun, I promise. But don’t listen to me! Ask any of the fabulous writers who contribute each week and they will tell you of the challenge and satisfaction, the research and discovery as being only a few of the many perks of writing a Six Sentence Story 🙂 Have a very good week everyone, read you soon!
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link up at Wednesday’s post. Link goes live at 6:00 pm through Saturday late…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀
PROMPT WORD: RESTORE
“I will go to my grave in a state of abject endless fascination that we all have the capacity to become emotionally involved with a personality that doesn’t exist.”
– Berkeley Breathed
