It’s Six Sentence Story Thursday Link Up!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
No napping today! We need to stay fired up this week to: write our Six Sentence Stories, pop over to Chris’s open house and then hit the Six Sentence Café and Bistro to continue the festivities surrounding the launch for Spirit of the Shell Man. So how fun is this?! This writing thing? I know – don’t need to tell you. It’s what we do. The story telling. We use words as frames to build worlds, create events, elicit emotion, garner sympathy and empathy, to humor and comfort, inspire and encourage. The Six Sentence Story weekly blog hop is about using a specific prompt word (provided each Sunday) to write a story in any genre or a poem, it might be a historical biographical piece or even a dollop of “soc”, in exactly 6 sentences. Please join us this week and link your Six here, beginning this evening (and each Wednesday evening), then kick back for the rest of the week right up to midnight Saturday, reading (or writing a 2nd SSS! yeah, talkin’ to you Matt, lol) and socializing with the fabulous writers and artists who’ve been building this community. Looking forward to reading everyone soon 🙂

Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.

Link is live Wednesday 6:00 PM, ends way late Saturday night!
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers  😀
