Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
Given a task to perform where you are constrained either by time or circumstance and specific rules, how do you perform? Generally speaking, there’s 2 groups of people. Those who respond – “No one’s telling me what and when or how to do it!” And those who respond “You challenging me? Bring it baby, bring it!” Six Sentence Stories is a weekly writing event. It’s purpose to engage us as writers in the challenge of writing a story, piece of poetry, next scene in our serial or perhaps throw out a smidgeon of soc and do so, in exactly 6 sentences. Genre, writer’s choice. Tell me. How is that not fun! The strawberry on top of that mountain of whipped cream? We get to bump elbows with people all over the damn planet! Creatives from every corner of the earth. One click does it all. There’s a whole world out there besides the one inside our heads. Let’s bring the two together. Beginning tonight.
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
