Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
Turning over a new leaf. Many of us attempt to do this at the beginning of each new year. Like photosynthesis, it is a process somewhat simple on face value. And like photosynthesis, it is ongoing as long as there is sunlight…as long as we are exposed to stimulating, nourishing experience(s). Where the heck am I going with this, this morning? Not entirely sure. Except to say, we are surrounded by sources of nourishment if we have but the patience to stop and look around. Yes, I will say Six Sentence Stories is one such source. How can it not be? It challenges our creativity, drawing from us a part of ourselves oft not permitted to shine in the context of our jobs, professions, business. We are challenged to write a story in exactly 6 sentences. Prompt word + 6 sentences = adventure, mystery, poetry, next scene in serial. Let’s find a prime spot, plant ourselves and write a Six.
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.

Lead as in heavy as, or as in lead on? Or our choice?

However you wish, Shay. Could also be used in the context of a dog’s leash, sometimes referred as a “lead”.
