Sunday’s Six Sentence Story Word Prompt!

Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and Sunday’s prompt word reveal for Six Sentence Stories!
What the mood today? This question tracks back to: how do we process (my word: “shit”, but I won’t say that here, lol) life’s challenges? (did she really use that term?!) As individuals who write, we have a unique advantage. We have the ability to turn life experiences, reactions, joys and not joys, into something else. What that is may be in the form of story,  poetry, the ever popular “soc” and without exception, the next chapter/installment/scene in an ongoing serial story. Six Sentence Stories. The writing challenge above all others, offering an opportunity to improve one’s skill, inviting the planet (you guys) to share in surgically precise form, 6 sentences. On face value, a simple task, non?

Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link up at Wednesday’s post. Link goes live at 6:00 pm through Saturday late…
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀

PROMPT WORDDISTRACTION

Writing sustains me. But wouldn’t it be better to say it sustains this kind of life? Which doesn’t mean life is any better when I don’t write. On the contrary, it is far worse, wholly unbearable, and inevitably ends in madness. This is, of course, only on the assumption that I am a writer even when I don’t write – which is indeed the case; and a non-writing writer is, in fact, a monster courting insanity.” – Franz Kafka
