Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
The wind and rain were really going at it outside my window (this) Tuesday evening. Was a time I didn’t know who would emerge victor. There’s silence now. I believe they declared a truce. At least for the time being. Time enough for me to invite you to another 4 days of fun at Six Sentence Stories. With Sunday’s prompt word duly in hand, you are tasked to write a story in whatever genre you enjoy, a poem in whatever form you favor, the next scene from your serial story or share a moment’s soc and do so, in exactly 6 sentences. No more, no less. It certainly seems a simple enough challenge, doesn’t it? Far be it for me to ruin the surprise, so go ahead, take a stab at writing a Six and let us know how you did. Guarantee you’ll want to write another 🙂 Enjoy yourselves, mingle; invite your friends. It’s a hell of a party. Read you soon!
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.

Link is live Wednesday 6:00 PM, ends way late Saturday night!
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀

Toni Morrison on the art of strategic understatement: mindful editing!
Six sentences will get you there, if you limit the semicolons (Lol!).

Wait…what, Liz?! Limit our friends the semicolons?! Preposterous! 🤣

I’d love to be able to get across the full story between the lines… but that would need some serious jiggery poker.
