Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories!
What fuels the engine? Prompt word? Emotion? Memory? A casual comment by a passerby on the street? Perhaps the view outside the window, say, an office window filled with cloud sprinkled blue sky, trees gently swaying in the breeze… the Best Western pool, deserted 😉 Yes, my fellow writers, it’s that time of the week again to break out the letter boxes, gather the word tools, cobble, construct, build and otherwise bridge precisely 6 sentences. “Then what?”, someone new to the neighborhood might ask. And we will tell them, “you come back here to the ‘Edge between tonight and Saturday late and link the URL to your Six. Why? Because this, is the Six Sentence Story Blog Hop! Marvelous and magical, we’re a community of writers who gather each week and share our latest Six, visit and talk with one another. Whatever your source of fuel this week, we hope you’ll use it to power up 6 sentences of poetry, or the next scene of your serial, a piece of fiction or the always pleasing soc and join us for another week of mayhem and …wait, what!?! Apologies, work and time appear to be pressing me like a piece of garlic, lol (you’re gettin’ silly now, Girlie. pull it together). Read everyone soon!
Rules of the hop:
Write 6 Sentences. No more. No less.
Use the current week’s prompt word.
Link the URL to your post via the blue “Click here to enter” button below.
Link is live Wednesday 6:00 PM, ends way late Saturday night!
Spread the word and put in a good one to your fellow writers 😀
