Welcome to GirlieOnTheEdge and another edition of Six Sentence Stories! Exciting isn’t it? Creativity/imagination. It may undulate with mood or circumstance or simply the phase of the moon. Regardless, it is a resource that, when utilized and channeled, can produce enormous self satisfaction. And the icing? When shared, is a source of entertainment, learning, escape, example. In short, sharing of ourselves creatively not only helps enhance our own skills as writers, it also benefits others as we read each others’ works, provide feedback and engage in conversation. Enough pressure these days to last a lifetime so if you want to let off a little creative steam, consider writing a Six Sentence Story. Or a 6 line poem. How about sharing a 6 sentence scene from the novel you’ve been working on? Whatever you decide, we’re here. Now through next Tuesday. Don’t worry that the words haven’t appeared yet. There’s time. The words will come.
They will most definitely come. Stay safe, be well. I’ll read you soon 🙂

PROMPT WORD: NOISE
“The beautiful part of writing is that you don’t have to get it right the first time, unlike, say, a brain surgeon.” – Robert Cormier
